This is the third of the Common College of Art's Craft Covens Workshop Series. The Craft Covens are a grassroots initiative to make art education accessible to anyone. They are a series of multidisciplinary art workshops hosted for and by local artists to share their practice through hands-on and communal activities. We want you to experiment, fail, learn, connect and grow with us, together.

It will happen at Don Montgomery Community Centre.

We are going to sit with our friends in the park. Some of us are going to make music. Others are going to draw pictures. Yet others are going to crochet, collage, chat, sway gently in time with the music. All of us are going to be making art. We’re also going to be making friends, which is sort of the same thing.

Maybe you’re hesitating to dive into a new creative project, or struggling to finish a work that has been in progress for an unspeakable length of time. Maybe you’re looking for new friends to create art with. Whether your goal is to practice your craft more consistently or to create your magnum opus, drop in to the Common College of Art’s Office Hours and let your ideas take flight.
